Here are few more tips to help you and your precious “teddy bear” puppy for a smooth transition to her new home:
First puppy-proofing your home
Puppies are lively, curious and teethe, and has a lower vantage point, which means may be attracted to things that you normally could not see, so here are couple suggestions:
- Confine your puppy to a safe area inside and keep doors and windows closed, let her to explore the new environment slowly.
- Your puppy should be supervised inside or outside.
- Keep your puppy off high decks or porches.
- Remove poisonous houseplants or cleaning supplies.
- Keep all plastic bags away from your puppy.
Supplies you will need
